Fit for the IED?

From 2025, the requirements of the new Industrial Emissions Directive (IED) for foundries and steelworks will increase significantly. By 2027 at the latest, CO₂ balances, origin certificates, and traceability must be fully documented and verifiable across the entire value chain.

Our contribution to IED compliance:

BROCKHAUS supports you in meeting these obligations efficiently and in full legal compliance.

This includes:

  • CO₂-neutral deliveries since 2019, certified and directly usable for your reporting
  • Material conformity declarations, such as oil-free, PVC-free, or with defined copper limits
  • Digital traceability – from analysis values to photographic documentation
  • In-house IED guidelines based on recognized international standards
  • The ZeroScrap® label for sustainability and ESG reporting

This makes your scrap supply not only more secure but also more technically and regulatory efficient.

We provide all the necessary evidence for your IED requirements

  • CO₂ data for Scope 3 calculations
  • Documentation for transformation plans and environmental reports
  • Complete documentation chains for ISO audits and regulatory authorities
  • Grade and quality certificates, digitally available and audit-proof upon request
