Microalloyed fine-grained steels

Thanks to micro-alloyed elements such as niobium, titanium or vanadium, these low-carbon steels offer high strength combined with good formability - significantly higher than soft DC grades. Produced in accordance with DIN EN 10268, they enable reduced strip thicknesses, which saves weight and costs. In addition, customer-specific special designs with adapted chemistry or mechanical properties can be realized.

High-strength microalloyed steels

These materials combine high formability with excellent wear resistance and precise dimensional and positional tolerance, without the need for subsequent heat treatment. With yield strengths of 500-1000 MPa and a yield strength/tensile strength ratio of over 95 %, they enable weight savings of up to 50 % with high toughness. Thanks to their low carbon equivalent, they have excellent weldability and are available in variable thicknesses, widths and surface qualities in accordance with DIN EN 10140 and DIN EN 10139. Customer-specific adaptations round off the profile.

Carbon steels

C steels combine very good formability with a high carbon content, which ensures maximum strength after tempering. They are suitable for heat treatment by the customer and, thanks to their fineblanking capability, enable precise stamped parts with up to 100% smooth cut. Thanks to specifically adjusted microstructure and material properties, they offer optimum cutting and formability in the delivery state as well as maximum mechanical performance after tempering. Production as cold-rolled strip with a precise rolling process guarantees application-oriented quality.

Case-hardening steels

Case-hardening steels are characterized by high wear and fracture resistance, even under continuous load. As supplied, they offer very good punching, fineblanking and cold forming properties; in the heat-treated condition, they also offer a hard surface with a tough core structure. Thanks to narrow thickness and width tolerances as well as a controlled ferrite grain and carbide structure, consistent quality, short heat treatment times and precise mechanical properties for efficient forming processes are ensured.

Quenched and tempered steels

Quenched and tempered steels combine very good formability with a high carbon content, which ensures maximum strength after quenching and tempering. They are suitable for heat treatment by the customer and, thanks to their fineblanking capability, enable precise stamped parts with up to 100 % smooth cutting. Thanks to specifically adjusted microstructure and material properties, they offer optimum cutting and formability in the delivery state as well as maximum mechanical performance after tempering. Production as cold-rolled strip with a precise rolling process guarantees application-oriented quality.

Spring steels

Spring steels impress with their outstanding elasticity, high strength and excellent fatigue strength. Their microstructure and geometric properties are specifically tailored to the respective application - be it for maximum formability before tempering or for long tool life and specific surface requirements.

Cold-rolled strip with electromagnetic properties

These specially developed cold-rolled strip grades combine outstanding soft magnetic properties with excellent formability and weldability. They are the ideal solution for electromagnetic regulating and control devices such as relays, valves or stators and meet the highest standards of dimensional accuracy, surface quality and process reliability. They already have very good magnetic properties as supplied, which means that additional annealing treatments are not required. Thanks to extremely tight tolerances and customizable characteristic values, they offer maximum flexibility for demanding applications.

DC steels

DC steel is a soft, highly formable material that is ideal for stamping and bending processes.
It impresses with its high dimensional accuracy, excellent surface quality and very good flatness.

Manufactured in accordance with DIN EN 10139 and also in special grades on request, DC steel can be precisely adapted to customer-specific requirements. Practice-oriented application advice helps you to select the optimum material for your application.
